Join Ronda Anderson, a local award winning photographer, for two hands-on workshops designated to elevate your mobile photography.  Attend one session for a quick skill boost, or sign up for both for the full creative experience.   

Workshop 1 Capture & Composition: “The Live Shoot”

    Date: September 9, 2026, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Stop taking simple snapshots and start making intentional photographs. In this fun, active session, you’ll master iPhone camera settings, learn how to find the best natural light, and practice composition techniques.  After a quick breakdown, we will head out for a live “photo play” session.

Workshop 2 Mobile Editing & Feedback Circle: “Enhancements “

    Date: September 23, 6:00 pm-8:00 pm

Bring 3-5 raw photos you have taken and stored on your iPhone. The magic happens after you click the shutter! In this hands-on lab, you’ll learn how to enhance your photographs using the built-in photo app. In the second half of the class, we will share our work in a supportive, pressure-free feedback circle.

Registration Fee: 

SVAN Member: $30/ workshop.  Non-Member: $35/ workshop.     $5 discount when registering and paying for both sessions at once.  Register for 1 or both workshops by contacting vicepresident@svanarts.org   Each session is limited to 8 participants.  Your email will put you on the list, your  payment will reserve your seat.  

Bonus: an opportunity to display a favorite photo taken and enhanced during the iPhone Workshops. A group display will be hosted at the SVAN S Main Street Gallery. Details to follow.
