“Implicate order is a form that is folded or twisted in on itself. The form also implies what will be expanded and “fleshed out” in the explicit order. This painting is also an example of my interest in translucence. Where does the light come from? Outside or inside, front or back? Objects which are translucent often appear to be generating their own light.”
